Just a quick note today:
I’ve just released a new video series I think many of you will appreciate — a quiet meditation on age, memory, and presence, drawn from the philosophy and design of classical Chinese gardens.
It’s called Time, Texture, and the Aesthetics of Aging — and it’s not just about gardens.
It’s about the traces that time leaves behind.
The softening of surfaces.
The way stories get written into space.
The series includes four short films, each blending poetic voiceover, cultural reflection, and personal insight. From cracked stone paths to the fading murals of forgotten corridors, this is a journey into what endures — and how we learn to see it.
There will also be a live session to go along with this program on Friday evening, 8 pm Singapore time. A replay will be available for those who are not able to join live.
