Our friends at the Asia Creative Writing Programme have an upcoming event that will definitely be of interest to readers here. Take a look at their writeup:
How can authors create a distinctive brand that sets them apart? Whether you’re a fresh face striving to get your foot in the door or a seasoned author seeking new pathways, hear firsthand from Stegner Fellow Jemimah Wei, author and translator Clarissa Goenawan and Marshall Cavendish’s marketing manager Mindy Pang on how to create an author brand for yourself, leverage social media to showcase your features, and leave a memorable impression in the publishing industry.

I’m excited to see this upcoming event, as our team at TL Global Insights have recently begun putting together a course on Author Branding that will soon be offered at our Enrichment Hub. We can’t take credit for the good work ACWP is doing at the upcoming conference, but we’re excited to see that the conversation has traction with them.
I’ll be away on the date of the conference, but I hope you’ll take the opportunity to attend the events if you’re in Singapore then. It looks like a great slate of events!
